Nice welcome Nice size triple room Nice food; I rather liked the idea of the optional two glasses of wines with the higher menu. Reasonable prices throughout
Disappointed there was no shower head attachment in the bath shower.Awkward to shower with one hand!!! On the subject of bathroom, we would have liked a shutter by the street facing ground floor window. Even with the frosted glass. On a cold day, it would be nice to have a warm room on arrival. Large triple room takes time to warm up.

Charming room in characterful hotel. The owners left us good instructions to access our room even though we arrived out of hours.
The restaurant was not open - Friday evening - but the owners rang us in advance to let us know this would be the case.

Loved my truly memorable stay in a very pleasant town. The staff team was good, the rooms were clean and equipped with air-con and large bathroom. The food was outstanding overall. The hotel has marvellous location just next door to the Channel Tunnel, the centre of town and a pretty square. It also was by the river nearby.

The hotel was charming. The Old School House atmosphere was maintained with school desks and blackboards as furniture and decoration. The food in the restaurant was excellent and good value for money. The rooms (we stayed in the annexe) were large and well furnished. Vaas itself is a village with a few shops and cafes and the hotel faces the village square.
